A+A 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany Increases Visitors, Global Presence

AplusA Nov 4-7

A+A 2025, the world’s leading trade for safety, security and health at work, closed in November 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany, after four successful days with impressive results. With the motto “People Matter”, 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries presented the complete spectrum of products, technologies and innovations for a safe, healthy and sustainable world of work in 13 exhibition halls. Around 67,000 trade visitors from 150 nations attended to get information about the trends and future topics in this industry. This increase in visitor numbers underlines the importance of A+A as the world’s No. 1 trade fair.

A+A 2025 impressed with its high international participation, high-caliber visitor quality and noticeable dynamics in the exhibition halls. 81% of the visitors surveyed were decision-makers from industry, skilled crafts, administration and services and used A+A to network, initiate investments and establish new business contacts. All relevant professional groups were represented at A+A 2025. The proportion of international visitors remained constant at 52% compared to the previous event. 16% of all visitors came from overseas.

Marius Berlemann, Chief Operating Officer of Messe Düsseldorf, commented: “A+A has again impressively confirmed its role as the global meeting point for safety and health at work and as an important economic driver for the industry. Here investment is made, partnerships are forged, and innovations become visible that set standards worldwide. A+A 2025 has shown the creative power behind this industry – and how closely sustainable success is linked with safe and healthy work.”

Stefan Brück, CEO of the uvex group and Chairman of the A+A advisory board, stated: “A+A exerts enormous influence emanating from Düsseldorf. It connects people, markets and innovations – in Europe and worldwide. As the world’s leading business platform, it provides decisive impetus for safe and healthy work.”

Innovations for tomorrow’s world of work

The strong relevance of the topics covered by A+A 2025 was reflected in the high level of satisfaction among trade visitors: around 97% confirmed that their expectations of the trade fair were fully met or even exceeded. A+A uniquely covers the global market for personal protective equipment (PPE). It presents the latest trends, such as sustainable materials in PPE, mental health in the workplace and digital assistance systems for safe working. Trade visitors were particularly interested in the topics of ergonomics, artificial intelligence (AI), and new work.

The EXO PARK showcased exoskeletons and digital ergonomics solutions in realistic application scenarios, making future technologies tangible. In the areas of workwear and PPE, exhibiting companies demonstrated that modern protective clothing has long since combined design, function and sustainability. Lightweight materials, smart features and resource-efficient production processes characterized the collections – as did a growing awareness of comfort and identity in the workplace.

A special source of inspiration once again came from the International Start-up Zone and the Start-up Area of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), where young companies impressed with creativity and innovative strength – from sensor-based protection systems and AI analyses to sustainable solutions for greater safety and efficiency.

39th A+A Congress with new formats and international guests

Registering some 3,000 participants from Germany and abroad, the 39th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Occupational Medicine (A+A Congress) 2025 confirmed its role as the leading platform for safety and health at work. The Congress, organized by the Federal German Association for Occupational Safety and Health (Basi), featured around 100 events and 330 speakers.

New formats such as the Vision Zero Stage in Hall 9 and the A+A Cinema provided practical relevance and resulted in high attendance figures. They also brought the Congress closer to the trade fair activities. The OSH Officers Day (Tag der Sicherheitsbeauftragten) focused on the future and importance of the over 700,000 occupational safety officers in Germany. Participants were also able to earn certification points for their continuing professional education. In terms of content, the Congress reflected the current challenges and opportunities of our working environment: digitalization and artificial intelligence in occupational safety, health-promoting leadership, violence prevention at the workplace as well as occupational medicine updates were among the central topics.

Dr. Christian Felten, Managing Director of Basi, drew a positive conclusion: “The A+A Congress 2025 has made it clear: prevention is more than theory – it is experienceable and forward-looking.

Now we are looking ahead to the 40th A+A Congress 2027 in Düsseldorf – with fresh impulses and the aim of making the world of work safer and healthier.”

Inspiring, diverse supporting program

In addition to the Congress, A+A 2025 offered a varied program of events that combined expert knowledge with experience and social commitment. The Trend Forum became the meeting point for knowledge transfer and innovation: experts discussed prevention, mental health, artificial intelligence and the responsible use of digital technologies.

In the area of fire protection and emergency management, live demonstrations provided practical insights into modern safety and rescue technologies.

A special highlight was the Corporate Fashion Show in Hall 15, attracting large crowds four times a day. On the A+A catwalk, leading manufacturers from the PPE industry presented collections that combine protection, functionality and sustainability with modern design. Today, modern workwear stands not only for safety but also with style, comfort and brand identity – and this was reflected in every presentation.

The next A+A will take place from October 19 – 22, 2027 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
