The Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP) invites safety, environmental, and hazardous materials professionals to gather for the 2026 EHS HAZMAT Summit, happening September 29–October 1, 2026, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

Recognized as one of the most important annual gatherings in the EHS&S field, the Summit will unite experts, thought leaders, and emerging professionals for three days of education, professional development, and networking.

This year’s Summit agenda emphasizes real-world problem solving, regulatory insight, and innovation in environmental and hazardous materials management. Attendees can expect:

•    Advanced pre-conference workshops

•    Technical sessions featuring the latest research and solutions

•    Keynotes from industry leaders shaping the future of EHS&S

•    Expanded exhibit hall with top-tier industry vendors

•    High-impact networking and career-building events

“From compliance best practices to sustainability leadership, this Summit delivers the actionable insights and connections EHS professionals need to stay ahead,” said Becky McWilliam, AHMP Administrator.

AHMP is currently accepting abstract proposals until April 17 for technical presentations, case studies, and project success stories that highlight innovation and leadership in EHS&S. Presenters earn Certification Maintenance Points and receive a 30% speaker discount on registration.

Submission areas include:

•    Innovative technical and regulatory solutions

•    Best practices in project delivery and operations

•    Case studies offering transferable lessons

•    Career and professional growth topics

The 2026 Summit introduces expanded sponsor benefits and new “Rich Pitch” presentation features for exhibitors looking to stand out. Exhibit and sponsorship packages are limited and expected to sell out early. Customized packages are available.

AHMP is also accepting award nominations through April 30, 2026, to honor individuals, chapters, and organizations driving progress in:

•    Education & Training

•    Research

•    Organizational Development

•    Operations & Performance

•    Award recipients will be recognized during the National Conference awards ceremony.
