ULT 2500.1 Extraction and Filtration System

April 1, 2026

Air technology vendor ULT presents the ULT 2500.1, a new extraction and filtration system for larger dust quantities. The system is designed for applications in laser processing, welding, grinding, cutting and polishing processes, as well as filling operations.

The ULT 2500.1 fume and dust extractor is a cartridge filter unit in a standard ignition-source-free design for volume flows up to 6,800 m³/h. The system can be utilized in a wide variety of industries, e.g., metal or plastics processing, electronics or battery manufacturing, bulk material handling, or in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The ULT 2500.1 was designed to meet fire and explosion protection safety requirements in its standard configuration. The use of low-maintenance HEPA H14 filter elements guarantees 99.995% air purification.

The filter change comes along with minimal contamination and without subsequent cleaning work.

Further user benefits include easy integration into existing processes through bidirectional machine communication (OPC-UA ready), low energy consumption due to effective filter cleaning during the ongoing process, the use of efficient EC fans, and the adaptation of the device layout to individual on-site situations such as corner or niche installation.

The ULT 2500.1 dust collector can be adapted to changing production process requirements through retrofittable options in the field. Extensive safety features are also available as options, such as the injection of extinguishing gas, the integration of a fire detection system, and the use of shut-off valves and pre-separators. Further efficiency-enhancing options include dosing for fine and sticky dusts and compressed air monitors.

The modularity of the extraction and filtration system allows for adaptation to individual manufacturing and material situations in production. Depending on the planned application, ULT designs the extraction system to be application-specific and situation-appropriate.
