China International OSH Expo Showcases Innovations with 43K Attendees

CIOSH
Messe Dusseldorf
April 27, 2026

The 110th China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo (CIOSH 2026) concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Marking its 60th anniversary, this edition had the theme “The Power of Protection.” A total of 1,364 leading domestic and international exhibitors participated on 80,000 square meters of exhibit space. The event served as a premier platform for showcasing cutting-edge products and innovative solutions across the personal protective equipment (PPE) and industrial safety technology sectors, attracting 43,750 professional visitors. CIOSH is part of Messe Düsseldorf’s portfolio of worldwide occupational safety and health trade fairs, benefitting from the company’s international network, including A+A, the world’ leading trade fair for this sector.

The exhibits were complemented by high-level forums, immersive experiences and a diverse program of interactive activities. Together, these elements provided a comprehensive reflection of the industry’s steady advancement towards greater intelligence, digitalization and sustainability.

Strengthened International Reach

Mr. Lei Limin, Chairman of the China Textile Commerce Association (CTCA), remarked, “From a traditional exhibition to an industry benchmark, CIOSH has evolved in step with China’s development. At this new juncture, it is accelerating its transformation from a trading platform into a hub for innovation and industrial integration, driving upgrades through new materials, processes, and standards, and supporting Chinese protective brands in gaining global recognition.”

Ms. Evian Gu, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., commented, “Over the past six decades, CIOSH has witnessed the PPE industry’s transformation from basic protective products to smart wearables and integrated safety solutions in China. This year, we were delighted to see significant progress from exhibitors in technological innovation, standards alignment and global expansion. Looking ahead, CIOSH will continue to strengthen its platform value and support the international growth of China’s occupational safety and health industry.”

Exhibitors at CIOSH 2026 included global and domestic industry leaders such as 3M, MSA, Ansell, SATA, DuPont, PIP, uvex, Xingyu Gloves, CM Mask and Shima Group as well as  Hanvo, YIHE and Shield King. Exhibits ranged from basic head, face, hand and foot protection to specialized fields such as emergency rescue, fall protection, fire safety and exoskeletons.

Against the backdrop of the global expansion of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China”, CIOSH further strengthened its international reach. Overseas visitor attendance increased by 20% compared to the previous edition. A dedicated overseas business matchmaking event welcomed purchasers from Sweden, France, Mexico, the U.S., Pakistan, Indonesia, Chile and other countries, offering targeted one-to-one meetings with Chinese exhibitors.

A+A Boosts CIOSH’s Presence

As CIOSH’s global strategic partner, A+A — the world’s leading trade fair for safety, security, and health at work — uses its international network and expertise to help Chinese companies integrate into global supply chains, strengthening worker safety worldwide through the power of “Made in China.” Mr. Daniel Feische, Project Director of A+A, stated, “CIOSH is celebrating its 60th anniversary, a sign of continuity, trust and lasting relevance. As Director of A+A, I am particularly pleased to see the strong cooperation between CTCA and Messe Düsseldorf. Our goal is not just to organize events, but to promote innovation, further develop standards, and build international bridges.”

Mr. Stefan Brück, CEO of the uvex group and Chairman of the A+A advisory board, added: “CIOSH and A+A share the same spirit. CIOSH has shown me the immense vitality and innovation of the Chinese market. Here, exhibitors and visitors can truly communicate face to face and experience products firsthand, something no digital tool can replace.”

The 2026 China Work Safety and Corporate Sustainability Forum (EHS Forum) was held concurrently with CIOSH, bringing together experts and business leaders for in depth discussions on sustainable safety management systems, smart protection technologies and workplace mental health. Other highlights at CIOSH 2026 included the Safety Fashion Show presented by DuPont, HLA and TenCate, the EXO Park displaying a range of powered exoskeletons and the Fall Protection Zone simulating high-altitude working conditions.

Next Show

The next staging of CIOSH will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from April 14 – 16, 2027. Also scheduled for next year is COSH Thailand (3rd Thailand International Exhibition for Personal Protective Equipment) at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from September 8 – 10, 2027.
