UniRailCapital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA, UNILINE and PROTECTA brands of fall protection equipment, announces the launch of its UniRail™ horizontal rail system, one of the first engineered systems to be distributed underneath Capital Safety’s newly acquired Uniline brand.

UniRail can be fitted to a wide range of structures and can support multiple workers at once for both fall arrest and fall restraint work applications. It offers workers continuous hands-free movement allowing them to easily navigate corners and building contours, providing maximum flexibility. Its sleek design makes it compatible with a variety of structures and architectural details.

“UniRail is one of the first innovative products we will be launching under the Uniline brand,” said Tim Maroushek, Global Product Director with Capital Safety. “This horizontal system not only provides the ultimate fall protection and safety, but also has minimal visual impact on architectural details. We are keeping workers safe and maintaining building aesthetics at the same time.” With the UNILINE brand, Capital Safety now offers the broadest engineered systems product line in the industry.

In addition to fall protection applications, UniRail can also be used as a primary anchor point for suspended rope access and abseil tasks.  The rail can be configured for a variety of structures and can be floor, wall or overhead mounted.  It offers excellent functionality through its free-flowing attachment carriage and intermediate bracket design.

UniRail is manufactured from 6000 series aluminum alloy to ensure a quality safety system that will withstand harsh environments. UniRail can span up to 3m (9.84 ft) between support brackets and meets current international product standards, including EN795, OSHA and AS/NZS, ensuring customers meet all safety requirements.
