IBC recognizes Protective Industrial Products as a Supplier of Excellence at its 12th annual National Meeting

November 13, 2012

IBC recognized Protective Industrial Products (PIP) as a Supplier of Excellence at its 12th annual National Meeting. PIP, a leading supplier of work gloves and personal protection equipment, won the award based on its sales growth between July 1, 2011– June 30, 2012. The award also acknowledged PIP’s strong support of IBC’s strategic initiatives.

Samantha Robbins, Regional Sales Manager at PIP, spoke about the value PIP receives from IBC. “Our relationship with IBC has been a good way to build a different type of clientele for PIP. IBC is out selling to distributor and end user customers. They are walking through their doors every day and creating more opportunities for IBC suppliers,” said Robbins. “There’s always potential and with this group, if you can get one win, it goes a long way.”

Ron Nuñez, President and COO of IBC, congratulated PIP on the award. “Protective Industrial Products maintains the standards of excellence held by IBC for its buying group. IBC is fortunate to count PIP as one of its preferred suppliers.”

The National Meeting was held September 29 to October 1 in Rosemont, IL for stakeholders in IBC’s buying group network. PIP was announced as a Supplier of Excellence at the annual Recognition Luncheon on Sunday, September 30.
