Covers health, training, fall prevention awareness
The Steel Erectors Association of Metropolitan Philadelphia and Vicinity Inc. and the Iron Workers Local Union No. 401 have renewed an alliance with OSHA designed to to promote workplace safety and health, provide guidance and training resources, and enhance awareness of OSHA's national fall prevention campaign among steel erection workers in the greater Philadelphia area.
Since its inception in November 2008, the alliance has provided safety and health cross-training sessions to more than 1,300 steel erection workers and safety and health professionals in the Philadelphia area.

Through its Alliance Program, OSHA works with businesses, trade associations, unions, consulates, professional organizations, faith- and community-based organizations, and educational institutions to prevent workplace fatalities, injuries and illnesses.
