What’s new in the glove industry?

November 6, 2013
The survey results from the 2013 IGA Glove Symposium reflect our members need and want to be aware of “Textile Industry Advancements”.  As a result, we are incorporating a session during the 2014 IGA Glove Symposium, where our members and attendees can register for, and have an opportunity to share, “What’s new” within their company.  This is a time to share and discover new products and resources.  There are no additional fees to take advantage of this opportunity, but space is limited.  If you or your company is interested in presenting your latest and greatest, and would like more information, please contact the IGA offices at (814) 328-5208 or email Patty Burdge:  patty@iga-online.com.

Save the date

Mark your calendar to attend the 2014 IGA Symposium! The International Glove Association will be holding its annual glove symposium March 16 - 18, 2014 at the Yacht Club of Disney World in Orlando Florida.

Based on survey results from those who attended the 2013 Glove Symposium, the following opportunities and topics will be the foundation of this upcoming event:

● Increased Networking with Customers and others in the glove industry.

● Increased Understanding of our Industry through the following educational courses:

  •    Glove Industry Trends
  •    Textile Industry Advancements
  •    Economic Overview
  •    Marketing Tools
  •    Government Regulations

The IGA has secured reduced room rates to include March 13 through March 21, 2014 if you’d like to make this a family event!  We will have reduced park tickets available as well.

 Distributor membership waived

New for 2014, distributor memberships will be waived for those registering for and attending the 2014 IGA Symposium at the Yacht Club of Disney World in Orlando Florida.  Any distributor who registers for our upcoming conference will have full member benefits which include, but are not limited to, Annual Market Data, Quarterly Market Updates, Access to Educational Training, and increased visibility within the glove industry.
