Capital Safety launches new website

Designed to be informative, powerful and easy to use

February 26, 2014

New Capital Safety websiteCapital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA® and PROTECTA® brands, has launched a new website inspired by the company’s commitment to quality, innovation and safety as the global leader in fall protection. The new site is designed to be more user-friendly and to provide customers around the world with the insights and information they need with just a few clicks. A year in the making, the new and improved CapitalSafety.com is the industry’s premier resource for fall protection equipment and information, with smarter search capabilities and faster downloads.

“Our priority in creating this new website was to respond to our customers’ needs by providing them with a great online experience,” said Nate Damro, vice president of global marketing at Capital Safety. “Our new website is inviting and easier than ever to navigate, providing fast and reliable fall protection information and assistance to both customers and users. It is also optimized for mobile devices so our customers can have the support they need in the palm of their hand when they are on the go.”

The new design is distinguished by a striking creative concept that echoes the company’s innovative spirit and energy, while also reflecting its exceptional products. On the homepage, visitors will find videos, news and events, featured products and popular downloads. The new navigation labels at the top of the page direct visitors to four primary sections: Products, Product Support, Training and Safety Resources.

Products

The Products section provides information on over 2,500 Capital Safety products. Visitors can easily find product highlights, accessories and similar models for comparison, and instantly download product brochures and instruction manuals.

Product Support

The comprehensive Product Support section includes information on product sizing, service and repair, technical bulletins, product and demo videos and a FAQs section where the visitor can ask a new question or contact Capital Safety directly. A distributor self-help tool allows customers to find the details of a product order, including tracking information, invoice history and order status. Visitors can also look up product warranty terms, learn how to arrange a repair, find a specific service location and calculate fall clearance.

Training

The Training section lists all upcoming Capital Safety training courses offered at 15 world-class training centers around the globe, as well as information on each specific course, training facility and instruction team. An eLearning feature is also available, providing workers with continuing education options to enhance their skillsets at their convenience.

Safety Resources

The Safety Resources section provides detailed information on industry regulations and standards, technical bulletins and articles, as well as quick and easy access to safety and service alerts on the company’s products. Other useful tools within Safety Resources include printable fall protection and rescue plans, available in both English and Spanish, and a list of relevant professional associations and trade magazines.

“Our new website is simple, engaging and helpful for our customers,” added Damro. “With everything we do, the safety of workers around the globe is our top priority. I am confident they will find this commitment reflected in the all-new CapitalSafety.com.”
