Truguard™ 300 NFPA 2112 UL certified flame-resistant apparel

October 13, 2014

Product InnovationsRevco Industries is proud to announce the launch of their new Black Stallion® TruGuard™ 300 line of flame-resistant apparel. Certified by UL for NFPA 2112, the TruGuard™ 300 apparel is designed for flash fire protection in the Oil & Gas industry to comply with OSHA standards. These 100% cotton garments also satisfy the requirements for NFPA 70E for arc flash protection, and pass ASTM F1506 for flame resistance.

The new high-quality coveralls are available in a variety of colors including a cooler light stone khaki color as well as navy, gray, and royal blue. Each color is available with or without 2” silver NFPA 2112 certified FR reflective tape for maximum visibility. The reflective coveralls also introduce an “x” design on the back to caution others at a job site that the wearer’s back is facing them.

The coveralls are packed with features that include gusseted underarms for freedom of movement, an adjustable waist for a better fit, and a special coin catch on the hip pockets to prevent losing pocketed items. The coveralls also feature a breakaway two-way FR zipper, chest pockets with flaps and a pencil slot, action back, a tool pocket on the right leg, scribe pocket, generous hip pockets, pass-through pockets, and prominent FR labels with ATPV and HRC so that safety inspectors can see the wearer is up to code.

Also available in stone khaki, with or without reflective tape, is the work shirt. These work shirts feature prominent FR labels and chest pockets with button-closure flaps, one with a pencil slot. The reflective version also features the “x” design on the back, similar to the coveralls.

Denim jeans and work pants complete the collection. The jeans offer a relaxed fit with enough room to pull over work boots. They come in a classic five-pocket design, sport a darker hue, and prominently display their FR credentials. They are also suitable for welders who normally wear jeans. The work pants offer a comfortable fit with a look that is appropriate in the boardroom or out in the field. FR buttons, a stretch-fit waist, coin catch pockets, and prominent FR labels are featured.

Black Stallion® TruGuard™ 300 flame-resistant apparel is available through independent welding and safety distributors nationwide. Details and information about Black Stallion® products can be found at www.blackstallion.com.
