Cirrus Research offers "try before you buy" option to key markets

October 16, 2014

Vendor NewsNoise measurement experts Cirrus Research has re-launched its NoiseHire.com website as demand for its "try before you buy" option has soared in recent months.

The popular hire out service has been taken up by a variety of clients including independent noise consultants, local authorities, housing associations and health & safety managers from the occupational health, environmental and noise nuisance sectors.

The newly-launched service allows you to hire and try a range of Cirrus noise monitoring equipment to ensure the kit is the right fit for the task in hand. If a customer then chooses to go and buy the product they will get a 50% refund on the hire costs. For example, if they hired a Trojan² noise nuisance recorder for two weeks they would get one week's hire fees refunded against the purchase price – a saving of £255.

"We have found that the hire option has become increasingly popular as new customers want to be absolutely sure they have the right equipment before committing to a full purchase," explained Cirrus Research Marketing Manager Thomas Shelton. "This way they get full peace of mind that they can fully understand, use and get the most out of the kit before making the final decision to buy. We understand it can be a big commitment for smaller companies or individuals so this is another way of making that decision process easier."

The money back option is available on a range of Cirrus Products including the Optimus Red, Optimus Green, the doseBadge dosemeter and the Trojan² noise nuisance recorder.

The new NoiseHIre.com website makes it even easier to choose the right product with its step by step guide on instruments, environments and support services. Hire fees start from as little as £199 per week.

As with all Cirrus products, the NoiseHire.com site also offers a full 15 year "no quibble" product warranty as well as sales support and free training and discounted calibration services through its dBAdvantage Card Scheme available to all new customers.

Founded in 1970, Cirrus Research plc is a leading specialist in the development and production of noise measurement instruments. Its latest scientific and technological developments are utilised to produce noise measurement instrumentation equipment to accurately measure noise and its impact.

As an industry leader, all of its products are manufactured in the UK and are used in a wide range of different applications within the construction, transport, aviation, manufacturing and leisure & sport sectors.

Cirrus is part of the British Safety Industry Federation's Registered Safety Supplier Scheme, identifying its organisation and products as 'genuine and safe', assuring customers that the products supplied are genuine, properly tested and certificated. Cirrus Research is an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 Registered Company.
