DSM Dyneema, the producer of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber branded as Dyneema®, has appointed JS Gloves as its first Premium Manufacturing Partner for cut-resistant gloves in Europe.

“As part of our commitment to create the world’s safest hands, we partner only with market leaders of whom we are confident that they have the ability and commitment to meet our high manufacturing standards,” says Olivier Boubeaud, global business segment director, high protective textiles, DSM Dyneema. “JS Gloves is that type of organization, and thus this move will give workers in the region greater and easier access to safer gloves.”

In becoming the first Premium Manufacturing Partner for the manufacturing of cut resistant gloves in Europe, JS Gloves joins a select group of global manufacturers carefully selected by DSM Dyneema via a rigorous qualification process. This is a key factor that helps DSM Dyneema maintain tight control from start to finish of all products manufactured with Dyneema® fiber, contributing significantly to the organization’s unmatched delivery of quality assurance.

“Moreover, by bringing value to the Eastern European glove industry and access to innovations like Dyneema® Diamond Technology we will be able to create longer term sustainable growth in combination with a significant contribution to safety in the region,” adds Orlando Ramakers, sales manager, DSM Dyneema.

“Today’s cut-resistant gloves with Dyneema® are the best the industry has ever seen. And these gloves are much more durable and comfortable than anything else in the market today,” says JS Gloves CEO Juliusz Szewczyk. “As a result the hand protection offered by JS Gloves will better protect workers while also adding to operational efficiency. We are delighted to be making a significant contribution to the safety of workers in Eastern Europe by providing them access to the best possible hand protection gloves that can be manufactured today with Dyneema®.”
