DuPont Sustainable Solutions has launched a new training series, Environment Matters, which presents straight-forward overviews of major environmental regulations. “The format of Environment Matters is based on the success of our Safety Matters series,” said Chris Scaglione, Product Manager, Learning & Development, DuPont Sustainable Solutions. “Safety Matters discusses core safety topics in 10 minutes or less.

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) have formalized a memorandum of understanding that outlines how the organizations will collaborate on advancing workplace safety and health over the next five years. ASSP President Rixio Medina, CSP, CPP, and KOSHA President Dooyong Park signed the agreement at a global workplace safety and health sustainability event in Paris.

ACGIH®, the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists, will honor its 2019 Awards recipients at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition (AIHce) held May 2022, 2019 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Each year, ACGIH® honors individuals and/or groups who have made significant contributions to the profession through their leadership and dedication. This year’s awardees join that distinguished list.

Dr. Timothy Ludwig, Managing Commissioner of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies’ Commission on Accreditation for Behavioral Safety, is pleased to announce that Sandy Knott, of Peru, Illinois, was recently elected to the Commission as an Associate Commissioner. Sandy was first introduced to the Center in 2004 working with Drs. Bill Hopkins and Dwight Harshbarger during the early years of our Accreditation program.

Melanie has led many efforts to enhance safety and quality programs at Haws. The new training location is located at Powell Electrical Systems in Houston, Texas and will be hosting a variety of different AVO electrical maintenance and electrical safety training courses.
