Tell us a little about the history of your company?

Enviroguard started in 1992. We originally made sorbents, but that business became so crowded, so we got out of that product line and started making disposable garments. We have a central distribution center in the Dallas area at our corporate location.

What has been your company’s business strategy to gain market share?

To bring out new technology in disposable protective apparel that helps to mitigate heat stress and that breaks through all of the noise of the rest of the “me too” products on the market. We have four new patents issued or pending on new fabrics and designs with more coming. The leading disposable fabrics on the market today are old technology that has been around for over 40 years. We don’t wear polyester leisure suits anymore in our normal life, so why should we wear old technology in our work clothing?

Describe the core branded products of your company that you promote?

We promote our Body Filter®, ViroGuard®, MicroGuard®, and ChemSplash® products. We also focus on our clean room apparel, GammaGuard®

How do distributors contribute to your success in the marketplace?

We only sell through distribution and we have an international network that is growing. Distributors provide end user access and logistics in getting our product to market. We do offer our distributors training and other value-added services.

Describe your current financial picture.

We have doubled our organic sales over the last 5 years due to new product offerings.

What should distributors know about your company’s future?

We will continue to bring out new products and to broaden our bundle so we stand out from the competition and allow our dedicated distributor partners the opportunity to make money while having fun detailing our products. This is better than the alternative which is to cut price and take orders
