BCSP is excited to announce the 2015 Board Officers, who will begin their terms in January: Ms. Cece Weldon, CSP, CHST, STS becomes the Board President, with Mr. Bruce Guiliani, CSP, CET as Vice President. Mr. Jack Dobson, Jr., CSP will retain the position of Treasurer and Dr. Lon Ferguson, CSP will become Past President. Also, we are privileged to have Mr. Richard Pollock, CSP join the organization as a Board Member in 2015.

Weldon, 2015 Board President, is the Director of Safety Program Management for URS, an AECOM Company. She has significant experience in program development and implementation, compliance assurance activities, incident investigations, and Workers' Compensation management. Weldon takes pride in "increasing people's safety awareness, allowing them to help protect themselves, their co-workers, family and friends." She is "looking forward to the term as President" and states, "I know that BCSP will continue to accomplish a great deal by providing the safety profession and practitioners with the highest quality, gold standard in Safety, Health, and Environmental certifications". Weldon has over fifteen years of experience in the safety, health, and environmental field. Weldon achieved the CHST in 2012, STS in 2008, and has held her CSP since 2005. She became a BCSP Board Member in 2011.

Guiliani, Board Vice President, is the Director of Safety and Loss Control at Heritage Group Safety, where he manages all training, consulting, and industrial hygiene activities. He has over thirty years of experience in safety, health and environmental practice. He is a member of his local American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) chapter and the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the latter for which he served as local chapter president. Guiliani achieved his CET in 2006 and has held his CSP since 1980. He became a BCSP Board Member in 2012. Guiliani is "honored to become Vice President in 2015" and is "looking forward to the new role in governance of the BCSP organization".

Pollock, who was elected to the 2015 Board at the Fall 2014 Board meeting, is the President of Comprehensive Loss Management, Inc. (CLMI), which he founded in 1984. Through CLMI, he established himself as an international authority and speaker on several safety performance, training, management system, ergonomics, human behavior and regulatory related issues. Of special note is Pollock's work in the construction trades, where he helped develop over one hundred separate safety and OSHA compliance training programs. In addition to his work with CLMI, Pollock served as the Society Chair of the American Society of Safety Engineers' (ASSE) Professional Development Planning Committee, was a member of that organization's Board of Directors for seven years, and most recently served as the ASSE Board of Directors President and Chair. He achieved his CSP in 1983.

The 2015 Board of Directors includes: Patricia Cruse, CSP, CET; Jack H. Dobson, Jr., CSP (Treasurer); Lon Ferguson, EdD, CSP (Past President); James A. Gentry, DBA (Public Member); Bruce Guiliani, CSP, CET (Vice President); John E. Hodges, CSP; Cheri Marcham, PhD, CSP; Linda Martin, CSP, OHST, CHST, STS, CET; Chris Patton, CSP, ASP; Richard A. Pollock, CSP; Cece M. Weldon, CSP, CHST, STS (President); and Treasa M. Turnbeaugh, PhD, CSP, ASP, CET (Chief Executive Officer, Board Secretary).

BCSP also operates paraprofessional SH&E certifications that provide additional career paths for safety practitioners.
