Ergodyne expands Skullerz® brand and launches safety glasses

February 13, 2015

Product InnovationsErgodyne announced today the expansion of their Skullerz® brand to now encompass Head, Eye, and Face Protection. With this news comes the highly anticipated launch of Ergodyne's new Skullerz® Safety Glasses offering seven unique, patented models in up to 13 different lens options. Designed to drive worker compliance with unmatched style, comfort, and safety, all models meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1+ High Velocity Impact and MIL-PRF 32342 Military Ballistic Fragmentation Protection requirements.

"We've spent nearly two years designing a standout line of eyewear that not only provides superior protection, but is something workers want to wear both on and off the job," said Andy Olson, associate product director at Ergodyne. "With seven frame styles and 13 different lens options, Skullerz® Eye Protection will soon become the go-to option for workers who require superior protection but refuse to compromise on style."

Inspired by and named after Norse Gods, the specific models include:

Skullerz® Odin Safety Glasses

Skullerz® Thor Safety Glasses

Skullerz® Dagr Safety Glasses

Skullerz® Kvasir Safety Glasses

Skullerz® Valkyrie Safety Glasses

Skullerz® Njord Safety Glasses

Skullerz® Loki Safety Glasses // Goggles

Accessories also available include:

  • Removable Foam Gasket Inserts to reduce debris (some models)
  • Microfiber Cleaning Bags and Cloths
  • Zippered Storage Cases
  • A variety of Eyewear Lanyards (many formerly branded Squids®)

With 124 unique frame // color // lens combinations, Skullerz® Eye Protection is built for a wide range of conditions and offers a multitude of high end options like polarized lenses and Fog-Off™ Anti-Fog technology. Additionally, all Skullerz® polycarbonate lenses block 99.9% of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC radiation and feature an anti-scratch coating standard. Go ahead - bend these bad boys. Their durable nylon // polycarbonate frames flex to the max, ensuring they stand up in the toughest workzones while retaining their shape. Many models also feature co-injection rubber temples that resist perspiration and keep the glasses in prime position.

"We are thrilled to add "eye" to our smart, well-crafted lineup of Tenacious Work Gear® safety solutions," said Tom Votel, president and CEO, Ergodyne. "Workers have long expressed their desire for us to make and sell eyewear - and we think we've delivered in a big way."

Ideal for workers who demand more than ordinary ANSI-compliant protective eyewear, the full line of Skullerz® Eye Protection as well as ample Eyewear Accessories, is available now at all authorized Ergodyne distributors.
