Optrel launches new web shop

Welders and metal fabricators in the U.S. and Canada are now one-click away from optrel welding helmets and replacement parts

April 21, 2015

OptrelOptrel, the global innovator of autodarkening filter technology for welding helmets, is making it easier for welders, metal fabricators, and DIY enthusiasts in the United States and Canada to purchase new welding helmets and accessories through the launch of a new web shop – www.optrel.com/usa.

“optrel has a very loyal fan base in North America,” said Renee S. Bessette, Vice President of Marketing and Operations for Optrel Inc. "Our new web shop not only extends our reach directly to our customers, it makes it more accessible to anyone who wants to use the most advanced technology in autodarkening welding helmets as they weld.”

The new optrel web shop offers the most popular optrel autodarkening welding helmets and powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) systems, replacement ADF lenses, and replacement parts. Visitors may search products by a variety of criteria, including price, shade level, technology, and color. Each product page includes a full overview of its technology and specifications, and studio and application photos. Products may be shared via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or email.

“Replacement parts such front and inside cover lenses, sweatbands, and magnifying lenses help maintain the performance and comfort of optrel helmets. These need to be replaced on a regular basis,” said Bessette. "The web shop makes it easy for welders to restock these items quickly."

The site features secure shopping via SSL encryption and accepts major credit cards. Once registered, users may track shipments, view their order history, re-order products, and update contact preferences

In addition, the new optrel web shop presents:

The Optrel Difference – provides an overview of optrel’s innovations in autodarkening lens technology, optical clarity, comfort, and protection.

Frequently Asked Questions – helps users troubleshoot issues they may experience with their optrel helmets and advises proper maintenance techniques to ensure optimal performance of their ADF lens, helmets, or PAPRs.

Where to Buy – directs customers to preferred distributors in the United States and Canada who offer the complete optrel product portfolio.

Visitors may also sign up for periodic enewsletters that feature new product announcements, special sales, and other optrel news.

In celebration of the web shop’s launch, optrel will offer a free Parking Buddy Belt Clip to those who order any expert series helmet or weldcap through the end of June 2015.

Online shopping is part of optrel’s mission to extend its reach to end-users throughout the United States and Canada, making it easier for professional welders, metal fabricators, mechanics, artists, and DIY enthusiasts to access popular optrel products.
