Camfil APC Appoints John Poehler to Director of Reseller/Rep Sales, reorganizes internal sales support group

July 19, 2016

Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) has appointed John Poehler as director of reseller/rep sales. In the newly created post, Poehler will oversee the company's regional sales managers and extensive network of dust, mist and fume collection equipment distributors and representatives in the U.S. and Canada. Poehler will also manage a reorganized internal group designed to support the company's growing customer and market base.

"John Poehler comes from a background of managing many people in challenging environments," states Tomm Frungillo, vice president of Camfil APC Americas. "We believe he will bring a fresh approach to sales management and work well to ensure continued growth and success."

As part of this reorganization, Frungillo reports that Matt Caulfield, an 8-year veteran of Camfil APC, has been named director of mining/pharma. Caulfield brings several years of sales management expertise to this new position, where he will oversee the dedicated sales teams that currently serve two of Camfil APC's key focus markets, mining and pharmaceutical dust collection.  In addition, Kevin Tucker will serve as automotive market manager, a new post created in response to growing demand from the automotive industry for Camfil APC's line of Handte mist collectors for machining processes.

The internal team under Poehler now includes a technical services and sales support group with general support personnel as well as dedicated engineers to provide specialized help to customers in the pharmaceutical, mining, metalworking, machining and aftermarket filtration areas. The Camfil APC field service team will also report to Poehler to provide close coordination on field support issues involving customers in all markets.

Poehler joined Camfil APC in 2013 as a sales engineer and subsequently served as West Coast regional manager. He brings years of management experience to his new post, having spent more than 20 years on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps in a variety of roles, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His personal awards include a Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal and Navy Commendation Medal; and he is authorized to wear the Presidential Service Badge. Poehler holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin.

Camfil APC is a leading global manufacturer of dust, mist and fume collection equipment and is part of Camfil, the world's largest air filtration company.  For further information, contact Camfil APC at 1-800-479-6801 or 1-870-933-8048; email filterman@camfil.com, web www.camfilapc.com.
