Haws® introduces new team members and announces internal promotions

Haws® is pleased to announce additions to our team as well as multiple internal promotions within various company departments. These additions are in support of Haws’ continued success in the emergency equipment and hydration industries.

NEW TEAM MEMBERS:

Rich Ferguson- Director of Global IT Operations
Ferguson offers a deep level of expertise as a previous Chief Information Officer (CIO) for multiple organizations including Lulius Innovation and Federal Labor Relations Authority in Washington, D.C. Ferguson has served the U.S. Army for 23 years most recently as an Officer and Black Hawk Instructor Pilot. In his new role as Director of Global IT Operations, Ferguson will be providing worldwide leadership and strategy for the IT department to help support and accelerate corporate objectives.

Joe Marques- Regional Sales Director/National Accounts- Eastern Canada
Marques joins the Haws team with over 30 years of experience in the plumbing and wholesale industries and 15 years in direct sales leadership as the new Regional Sales Director of Eastern Canada. Marques will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing relationships with Haws representatives and key accounts in his region. In addition, he will drive and develop sales growth with key national accounts and customers throughout North America.

Sameep Verma- Business Development Manager, Haws-Dubai
Verma joins the Haws – Europe team with an MBA in Marketing from SP Jain School of Global Management in Dubai. He has over 9 years of experience in business development at companies including Supertechnical FZCO and Batliboi Ltd. Verma will be based out of Dubai and will focus on business development for Haws products within the Middle Eastern Market.

INTERNAL PROMOTIONS:

Claude Sapp- Global Chief of Operations
With an MBA in Finance from the University of Tampa and more than 25 years of experience with companies such as Huntington Capital, Sapp came to work for Haws in early 2016 as a consultant before transitioning to VP of Finance. Sapp brings a wealth of business, operations, IT, and financial knowledge to the organization. With his promotion to Chief Operating Officer (COO), Sapp adds Global Operations, Product Management, and R&D to his existing responsibilities of Finance and IT.

Katy Hess- Director of Global Corporate Communications
As Director of Global Corporate Communications, Hess is now responsible for leading and supporting the Human Resources department in addition to her current responsibilities of managing the Marketing department. Hess will provide strategic and tactical leadership, managing and enhancing the global internal and external communications, brands, and talent management through exploration of new opportunities to add value to the customer and employee experience.

Jennifer Duve- Project Manager
Duve graduated from Kaplan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Managerial Accounting and brings 20 years of finance experience to her 6 years at Haws within the Finance department as Accounting Supervisor. Duve’s recent transition to Product Manager gives her the responsibilities of managing project execution to ensuring adherence to time, cost, schedule, and scope of selected projects.

Ronille Pabico- Accounting Manager
Pabico joined Haws in September of 2015 as the AP Supervisor. With both his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno, Pabico has been recognized and promoted to Accounting Manager. In addition to his previous responsibilities, his new role will include managing and leading the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams, budget, annual audit, and international accounting oversight.

Daniel Page- Production Manager
Page started with Haws in 2011 and has provided many years of significant leadership and direction earning his recent promotion from Production Supervisor to Production Manager with the addition of the Receiving and Quality Control departments to his existing departments of Manufacturing Production, Parts-Pulling, and Concrete.

McDean Licudo- Assistant Production Supervisor

For the last 10 years, Licudo has consistently demonstrated solid contributions to the Haws Production team. Most recently as Production Lead, he oversaw the essential functions of the Haws safety equipment and hydration product production and assembly. With his recent promotion to Assistant Production Supervisor, Licudo has incorporated management and team member leadership of employees as well as ensuring uniformity of the Production floor quality.
