Lewellyn Technology lands INC 5000 for the third time

The leader in electrical and combustible dust safety is growing to better provide safety solutions for businesses across the US and the Caribbean

September 7, 2017

Lewellyn Technology has done it again for the third time! Lewellyn Technology, the market leading safety solutions partner that helps companies realize their vision of a best-in-class safe and healthy workplace, is pleased to announce that for the 3rd consecutive year, they have landed on Inc. 5000’s “Fastest Growing Private Companies” list.

The recurrent presence on the Inc 5000 list reinforces Lewellyn’s intention to further expand its national footprint. The company has announced plans to expand their offices and training facilities that are expected to create 50% additional jobs by 2021. “We are excited about the expansion and growth projections, which will allow us to better promote awareness of safety in the workplace, ensure longevity for our associates and continue job creation in Indiana,” said Mike Vea, CEO and Co-owner at Lewellyn Technology. The company currently serves clients across the United States and the Caribbean from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies including universities, manufacturers, and government properties.

“We’re very fortunate that just about any company that has electrical in their building is a potential client for us,” says Jay Smith, Vice President at Lewellyn. Every day, facility or maintenance workers expose themselves to electrical hazards that could lead to injuries or death.  Lewellyn Technology helps facilities implement NFPA 70E to eliminate the risks of accidents due to arc flash.

Combustible dust dangers have become a growing concern in safety and health after several high-profile accidents/fatalities and increased enforcement of combustible dust hazards by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (e.g. OSHA, insurance carriers, etc).

Jason Reason, Lewellyn Technology’s Senior Vice President of Safety and Health Services and renowned Combustible Dust expert, has been leading the company’s combustible dust team to help clients eliminate these complex combustible dust hazards. Jason is a former Compliance Safety and Health Officer (CSHO) for Indiana OSHA (IOSHA and currently serves as the Chair of NFPA’s Technical Committee for Wood and Cellulosic Materials Processing (NFPA 664). Since 2009, he has also been a member of several NFPA Technical Committees that address combustible dust hazards including NFPA 652, 654, 2112/2113 and has performed or assisted high-profile combustible dust inspections at a wide range of facilities nationwide.

What’s next? One thing is certain; we’re not slowing down anytime soon. Lewellyn is the market-leading safety solutions partner that helps companies realize their vision of a best-in-class safe and healthy workplace. Our team of proven, industry leading experts in electrical safety and combustible dust solutions partner with you to identify, measure, and mitigate operational risks. The result is safer workplaces, higher productivity, and lower costs.
