After rigorous testing, Ergodyne’s new high-capacity tool lanyards are ready for work
Ergodyne, a pioneer in the safety hazard category of Objects at Heights, has added two high-capacity tool lanyards to its innovative Squids® line of dropped objects prevention solutions.
The new additions are Ergodyne’s highest weight-rated tool lanyards to date, after being rigorously tested and third-party certified to a 40lb (18kg) maximum capacity.
Made with non-shock absorbing webbing, an extended length of 76in (193cm) and two carabiner options, these Lanyards are specifically designed to be attached to the structure being worked on instead of the workers themselves.
The new 40lb Tool Lanyards include:
- 3129 Single Double-Locking Carabiner w/ Swivel – 40lbs
- 3139 Dual Double-Locking Carabiner w/ Swivel – 40lbs
“In order to pass the rigid testing requirements of the upcoming ANSI/ISEA 121 Dropped Objects Standard we’ve helped draft, we found our non-shock absorbing tetoron polyester webbing delivered superior test results,” said Brent Velenchenko, product specialist, Ergodyne.
