Rockford Systems, LLC., a premier provider of machine safeguarding products and services, will be attending the Minnesota Safety & Health Conference, presented by the Minnesota Safety Council. Now in its 84th year, the Conference is scheduled for May 8-10, 2018 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

"This conference is an excellent venue for Rockford Systems to connect with prominent members of the Midwest manufacturing community who recognize safety as an important element in continued robust growth, profitability and productivity," said Carrie Halle, Vice President of Marketing for Rockford Systems. "Plus, with the ongoing shortage of qualified technicians, the management of leading manufacturers know that an injury-free work environment promotes employee retention and attracts new candidates."

Rockford Systems will be in a 10x20 booth (#2010/2010) where it will showcase the latest of its expanded portfolio of safety products and services, including live demonstrations of a lathe, mill drill, and drill stand safeguarded to OSHA and ANSI standards. In addition, the company's Director of Training, Roger Harrison, will be giving a free seminar entitled "Machine Safeguarding 101" on Tuesday, May 8, from 2:00-3:30 pm CT. Mr. Harrison is an industrial safeguarding expert with over 25,000 hours of training experience. He will discuss the ANSI B11.19 Machine Guarding standard as it applies to safety equipment such as guards, guard interlocks, light curtains, laser scanners, and shields for cutting/turning machines, among others.
