Added features for added safety in Tingley’s flagship brand

Tingley
September 4, 2019

Tingley Rubber Corporation, a leading supplier of protective footwear< /a>and clothing, has continued expansion of its highly successful line of Iron Eagle apparel by engineering a suit that contains bonus safety features. “Listening to our customers and observing trends in the industry revealed that there was a need for more feature-laden rainwear,” said Brian Nutt, Product Director for Protective Apparel at Tingley Rubber. “The addition of this jacket and overall will provide users with what they desire to make work safer, easier and able to be completed more efficiently.”

The new jacket style includes an elastic inner cuff and a two-stage snap take-up on the outer cuff to lock out liquids. The overalls incorporate lock out, tag out (LOTO) straps on both sides of the waist and knee patch pockets for applications that require extensive bending and/or kneeling.

The additional jacket and overall styles are available in both gold and green colors, ranging from size XS to 4XL.

Extremely comfortable and flexible, the Iron Eagle line of protective apparel has the durability to resist fats, oils, pine tars, gasoline, grease and a variety of other chemicals. With heat sealed seams that are stronger than the material itself, these garments can withstand extensive laundering. A two-mil exterior coating that is easy to decontaminate and offers unbelievable snag resistance helps make the Iron Eagle ideal for the toughest work conditions.

The Iron Eagle line includes a complete offering of jackets, overalls, hoods, and protective sleeves – all featuring the comfort, quality, and durability that make Iron Eagle the leading brand of protective clothing for food processing.

Tingley protective footwear and clothing have been protecting generations of workers since 1896 and are available from authorized distributors in the US and Canada. For more information, please contact a Tingley Sales Representative or visit the Tingley website at www.tingleyrubber.com.
