When you’re not meeting and greeting at NSC Congress & Expo, you may want to take some time to explore the attractions of the host city. There are many. In addition to lots of sunshine, San Diego also boasts a vibrant downtown, a sparkling coastline and lots of shopping and dining options. For starters, you can take surfing lessons in La Jolla, visit the museums of Balboa Park or stroll through the Gaslamp Quarter.

When you get hungry, you’ll find a host of restaurants – Italian, Mexican, seafood and more - close to the San Diego Convention Center. Search Restaurants

If you’re looking for nightlife, San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter features nearly 600 diverse nightclubs, lounges and live music venues all within walking distance, directly across the street from the San Diego Convention Center.

As for museums, the USS Midway Museum – which is just minutes from the Convention Center – allows you to explore a historic Navy aircraft carrier. The Fleet Science Center is also nearby, as is the San Diego Air & Space Museum

Oh, and that weather the city is so famous for? The average daily temperature is 71 degrees Fahrenheit, with 300 sunny days a year. Evenings are pleasantly cool, so bring a light jacket.
