pinta acoustic announces the launch of SONEX® Flow Panels, the latest addition to its extensive line of sound-absorbing products. The distinctive rolling pattern of SONEX Flow offers aesthetic appeal and superior sound absorption. It provides exceptional noise reduction across all sound frequencies with an impressive noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of 0.90 to 0.95, ensuring optimal acoustic performance in a variety of spaces.

SONEX Flow Panels are an ideal solution for architects and designers looking to merge functionality with aesthetics. These lightweight, fiber-free panels are made from pinta acoustic’s WILLTEC™ open-cell melamine foam, a material renowned for its durability and excellent acoustic properties.

Key Features of SONEX Flow Panels

SONEX Flow Panels are suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications, including modern office and retail spaces, lecture halls and classrooms, restaurants and cafeterias, recording studios and music venues, recreational facilities, showrooms and museum displays, and machine rooms and manufacturing areas.

Each SONEX Flow Panel measures 24 by 48 inches (610 by 1,219 mm) with a standard thickness of 2” (51 mm). Made from open-cell melamine foam, the panels have a density of 0.5 to 0.7 lbs./cubic ft. (0.23 to 0.32 kg per m³), ensuring lightweight yet durable performance. They meet Class A flame resistance per ASTM E 84, CAN ULC-S102 and UL 181 Section 11 standards, making them safe for various environments. SONEX Flow Panels are available in natural white and grey, as well as standard, premium and custom water-based acoustic coatings for enhanced durability and aesthetic versatility.
