TrafFix Devices to Showcase at 2025 NSC Safety Congress & Expo

TrafFix Devices, a manufacturer and supplier of traffic control devices and crash attenuation products, will showcase its range of innovative products at the upcoming NSC Safety Congress & Expo, to be held September 16th-18th, 2025 in Denver, CO. At Booth #4512, TrafFix Devices will display two of its cutting-edge safety solutions: the Block Axess Vehicle Mitigation System and the Water Wall.
The Block Axess is a state-of-the-art hostile vehicle mitigation system designed to protect pedestrians and critical infrastructure from vehicle-based threats. This innovative system can be assembled by a single person in just 14 minutes, offering a quick and efficient solution for event security and urban protection. Constructed from thick, galvanized steel, the Block Axess provides robust security while allowing easy pedestrian access. It has been certified to resist vehicles up to 7.5 tons traveling at 30 mph, meeting ASTM F2656 - M30/P3, IWA14-1, and PAS68 standards.
The Water Wall is a longitudinal channelizing device, primarily used to guide and control traffic through work zones and temporary construction sites. With a low profile design, these barriers provide a visual and physical separation between the flow of traffic and work areas. A unique feature of the Water Wall is its ability to connect directly to the SLED end treatment, eliminating the need for additional shielding or flaring at barrier ends. For enhanced functionality, the device can be equipped with chain-link fencing using extended connection pins, offering added privacy and security.
Alongside roads, highways, and public spaces, TrafFix Device’s Water Wall provides essential protection in airport environments. During peak travel times or special events, it helps manage passenger flow and create organized queuing areas. When maintenance or repairs are underway on runways, taxiways, or other airport infrastructure, these longitudinal channelizing devices effectively separate work zones from active areas.
