PIP expanding sales, marketing and product expertise for accelerated growth

August 5, 2013

Vendor NewsProtective Industrial Products Inc. is proud to announce the hire of two Personal Protective Equipment Specialists (PPE Specialists) to cover newly expanded territories and to support the sales force with our partner and power brands such as Bouton® Optical, Bollé® Safety, JSP® Head Protection and PIP Protective Garments. Both specialists have extensive experience in the safety industry.

Ms. Amanda Lucarino comes to PIP as a dedicated PPE Specialist supporting our Distributor-Partners and sales force in Texas and Oklahoma. She has nearly ten years’ experience in technical sales related to gas detection and instrumentation. Ms. Blair Cannon will work in the same capacity as PPE Specialist for Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, West Tennessee and Arkansas. Blair has a background in sales management and marketing specific to our business.

At the same time we are equally proud to introduce Mr. Don Doyle to the position of Regional Channel Manager-Mid Atlantic Region. A seasoned sales executive, Don comes to PIP with a strong background in hand protection and consumable safety products. With previous experience at companies such as Honeywell Safety Products, Perfect Fit (Sperian) and Grainger, Don is regarded as an expert in the field. He is the recipient of the Supplier of the Year Award and NAM Innovator for outstanding sales performance and distinguished status in the field.

In July we were delighted to add Ms. Laura Lachell as Marketing Communication Manager for PIP-USA. Ms. Lachell is an MBA graduate with strong marketing expertise. Since graduating, Ms. Lachell has served as a board member of the American Marketing Association (NY Capital Chapter) and taught marketing at Siena College as an Adjunct Lecturer. Most recently, Ms. Lachell ran the marketing department at a specialty manufacturer of prescription eyewear for institutional customers.

PIP continues to grow thanks principally to its employees and strong customer relationships. Our goal is to attract high caliber people seeking to work in a collaborative, team environment where they are empowered to say “yes” to customers.

Protective Industrial Products, Inc. is one of the leading suppliers of Hand Protection and Personal Protective Equipment to industrial distributors globally. PIP's mantra is “Bringing the Best of the World to You®” by providing the highest value safety products available to workers in the Industrial, Construction and Electrical industry. PIP strengthens its value proposition by also offering its products in the most efficient and flexible manner while building long-term relationships with its distributors. Additional information about PIP is available at www.pipusa.com.
