A perfect fit — Worldwide Protective Products acquires US Mesh

August 13, 2013

U.S. MeshWorldwide Protective Products, LLC this week announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire US Mesh, Inc. based in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. US Mesh is a leading domestic manufacturer of metal mesh safety products, including mesh gloves, mesh arm and body protectors, all designed and manufactured to address a wide range of personal protection needs.

"US Mesh is an industry leading producer of high quality, highly customized mesh safety products for the nation’s leading beef, pork and poultry producers as well as for the food services, fish processing and apparel industries, with a long-standing tradition of superior product design and development," said Kerry Dyer, managing partner of Worldwide Protective Products, LLC.

"The addition of US Mesh will further broaden our personal protective product offering," he noted. Made of individually welded stainless steel rings, US Mesh safety products are all engineered to be lightweight, strong, durable and easy to clean. Plus, all US Mesh products are individually tagged with a unique serial number to assist in product identification and tracking.

As increasingly stringent U.S. workplace safety laws fuel the demand for new personal protective product solutions, US Mesh maintains an ongoing commitment to develop new products to address these challenges. Additional new product developments will focus on cost savings, ergonomic design and more efficient donning /doffing. US Mesh is also proud to offer a comprehensive factory refurbish program to repair old or damaged mesh products.

"Dedicated to U.S. manufacturing, this acquisition provides us with another strategic location that will offer additional custom tailored safety solutions, improve customer service and serve for future market expansion — key components of our growth strategy—we are proud to integrate the US Mesh portfolio with the full-line of Worldwide product offerings for our customers around the world."
