Revco Industries, Inc. announced today that Steve Hwang has been named as its new President, effective January 1, 2017.
Steve Hwang has spent 16 years at Revco Industries, most recently as Executive Vice President. Prior to that, he held positions as VP of Business Development & Operations, Operations Manager, and IT Manager. His experience with Revco Industries covers the spectrum of operational and business development duties, including supply chain management, strategic partnerships, analytics, quality, and production.

FR clothing manufacturer offers free FR apron to firefighters who provide recipes for cookbook

Workrite Uniform Company, a flame-resistant (FR) workwear manufacturer, is asking the firefighting community to share their favorite recipes for inclusion in the company’s upcoming fire station cookbook. Each person who submits a recipe is also eligible to receive a free Workrite® FR Fire Service apron while supplies last.

Carhartt today informed customers about a voluntary product notification regarding nine Flame Resistant (FR) sweatshirt styles with durable water repellent finish (DWR) manufactured in 2014 and after. Test results indicate inconsistencies in the performance ratings of these industrial garments, and some of the garments may not currently meet the requirements of NFPA 2112 and NFPA 70E.
