OSHA has cited janitorial services company ServiceMaster Clean with one willful and four serious safety violations for failing to protect workers from lead exposure and other hazards while they were contracted to clean an indoor firing range in Lancaster.
OSHA has recently cited Buford, Ga.-based Maga Construction Inc. with 12 serious violations for exposing workers to fall hazards and other safety violations at a San Antonio work site.
A recent OSHA memo is "a great step forward in trying to address the growing problem of policies and practices that discourage reporting of injuries," according to Peg Seminario, Safety and Health Director of the AFL-CIO.
