November 13, 2014

Vendor NewsProtective Industrial Products is very pleased to announce the following appointment and additions to fuel our growth and innovation, while strengthening support of our distributor partners.

New appointment

Industry veteran and widely respected, Kurt Wanner has accepted the newly created position of Vice President of National Accounts.  In this role, Kurt will be responsible for leading PIP’s National Account Program. Kurt joined PIP in early 2006 as a Regional Sales Manager and later became our first National Account Manager which helped PIP develop a number of key accounts.  In his most recent role as Vice President of Sales – Safety, North and Northeast, Kurt successfully led a growing area of the country and continued to be personally active with many of our accounts. Kurt’s new objectives will be entirely focused on managing of our National Accounts team and overseeing the implementation of our National Account programs throughout our sales organization. Kurt will transition into this new role over the next couple of months.

New additions

We are equally proud to announce that Mike Carducci is coming back to our PIP community!  Now he will be serving in the role of Vice President of Sales – Safety, North and Northeast.  Mike has over 20 years of experience in the PPE industry where he held various positions that include Product Development Manager, Business Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager with other respectable glove companies.  Mike holds a B.S. in Business Management from SUNY Empire State College.

Finally, we announce the hiring of Eddie Mal who will join PIP on November 17th as Product Specialist-PPE.  Eddie has a substantial record of sales accomplishments throughout his 25+ years of experience in PPE, manufacturing, and fire-fighting equipment industries.  Eddie is an alumnus of Almeda University where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration.  Eddie’s territory will be finalized in the next upcoming weeks.
