Streamlight®, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance flashlight products, today launched a “My Favorite Hunting or Fishing Lighting Tool” Facebook contest for hunting and fishing enthusiasts, in honor of National Hunting and Fishing (NHF) Day on September 24, 2016. NHF is an annual celebration to spotlight these outdoor traditions and serves as a reminder to conserve natural resources. 

Contestants are asked to submit a photo of themselves with their favorite Streamlight flashlight, headlamp, or lantern for hunting or fishing, and a short comment on why they favor that particular light.

The top three winners in both the Hunting and Fishing categories will receive a Super Siege® (1st place), a Siege® AA (2nd place), and a ProTac® 1L-AA (3rd place), respectively.

“Streamlight has a long tradition of manufacturing ultra-bright, dependable lighting products for hunting- and fishing-related activities,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Sharrah. “We are constantly inspired by the positive feedback we receive from our sporting enthusiast customers, so we wanted to commemorate this annual observance by giving them the chance to tell us about their hunting and fishing experiences with Streamlight products.”    

Entries may be submitted via the Streamlight Facebook page (www.facebook.com/streamlight) using the hashtag #Streamlight. Entrants can also access the Streamlight Facebook page from a link on the homepage of www.streamlight.com. The deadline for submissions is September 22.

Winners will be announced on the company’s Facebook page on Friday, September 23, 2016.
