Three construction workers are recovering from serious injuries sustained last week when two cranes failed and fell to the ground at a worksite in Miami-Dade county.

News sources said two of the injured workers were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center and a third was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center.

Emergency responders were called to the site around 10 a.m. after the two scissor lifts fell over. The incident is under investigation.
