Construction workers ran for their lives yesterday to avoid being crushed by an enormous crane that toppled over yesterday morning at a worksite in St. Petersburg, Florida. No one was injured in the incident but the video obtained by ABC News shows several workers who narrowly avoided being hit by the crane, which was estimated to be about ten stories tall.

Florida OSHA is investigating.

The accident occurred at the site of a new, 167,519 square foot headquarters for the St. Petersburg Police Department. The general contractor on the project, Ajax Building Corp., was the general contractor for a Miami-Dade parking garage under construction which collapsed in 2012, killing four workers and injuring seven. The company and four others were fined by OSHA and cited for failing to properly secure and inspect columns and other structural elements of the garage.
