McWilliams ElectricMcWilliams Electric prides itself on their high Safety Rating and continuous training of office and field personnel. This level of excellence has won McWilliams several Industry Safety Awards and can be contributed to McWilliams Electric's Safety Director Jerry McGlynn. Jerry has had extensive training in all areas of construction safety.   Jerry has certifications from the Board of Safety Professionals as a Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) and as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). He also has a certificate in Safety Management from the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Jerry's qualifications include: American Red Cross & National Safety Council Authorized Instructor in First Aid & CPR/AED, OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer authorized to conduct 10 and 30 hour courses, Alcohol & Drug Supervisor Training, OSHA Inspection Survival Seminar, Fall Protection Competent Person, Excavating Competent Person, Supervisor's Safety Training Course "Super Safe" and Forklift Training.

Jerry ensures that all employees of McWilliams Electric are fully educated on all safety procedures in compliance with the OSHA 29CFR1910 & OSHA 29CFR1926 standards.  Jerry oversees safety meetings and job site hazard analysis for all employees and supervisory staff that are scheduled once a week.  These meetings are used to demonstrate accident prevention.
