Portable Zephyr III™ easily captures dust and fumes in light production welding applications

Camfil APC
March 5, 2018

Keeping welding shops free from dust and fumes is important for employee health and environmental safety. For easy dust collection at multiple sources throughout the plant, Camfil APC offers the Zephyr III™ Portable Dust Collector. The Zephyr is ideal for facilities that perform maintenance welding or intermittent production welding.

The Zephyr is a plug-and-play collector that captures airborne particles including welding/soldering fumes, grinding dusts and dry dusts. The three-stage filtration system includes a primary spark trap, a Gold Cone® HemiPleat® filter and a carbon after filter.

With an adjustable, 360° swivel arm, the Zephyr captures dust and fumes at their source and can be adjusted to fit many weld locations and parts sizes. Large wheels and brakes make it easy to move around and position where needed.

"The Zephyr is simple to use in light welding applications, and operators can easily move it from bench welding to a larger welding job on plant floor," said Graeme Bell, Vice President of Camfil APC Americas. "We also offer high-efficiency dust collectors for heavy production welding operations and controlling combustible dust."

The Zephyr III can now be purchased directly from Camfil APC. Click here to learn more.
