Police in Orange County, Fla., have confirmed that a second Walt Disney World employee was injured in an industrial accident at the park, just hours after a different worker was killed in a separate accident.

Of the latest accident, Deputy Ingrid Tejada-Monforte of the Orange County police said the male employee suffered a fall at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at around 10:30 p.m., the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The extent of his injuries was not revealed, thought they were said to be non-life-threatening. The worker had called 911 after his fall and was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

“We wish him a full and smooth recovery,” a spokeswoman for Disney World said in a statement obtained by the Sentinel.

It was the second accident to befall a worker at Walt Disney World in one day, following the death of Juan Alberto Ojeda, 33, who was killed in an “industrial accident” that morning.

Ojeda was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which took place near Disney World’s Pop Century Resort, after becoming trapped under a utility vehicle that jumped a curb, according to witnesses who spoke with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Fox 35 reported.

"All of us at Walt Disney World Resort are deeply saddened today by the loss of one of our Cast Members," George A. Kalogridis, president of Walt Disney World Resort, said of Ojeda’s passing in a statement obtained by Fox News. "This is a tragic accident, and we are providing resources and care for those impacted and are working closely with the proper authorities to understand how this happened."

Walt Disney World has said it is providing resources and care to those affected by both accidents.
