A May 12, 2012, report by the Government Accounting Office “Better OSHA Guidance Needed on Safety Incentive Programs” raises some concerns about incentive programs and the way that many companies are using them.
I don’t know if you have seen the latest announcement from the UK Government - I noted it in an editorial that appeared in the Economist. I had a hard time actually tracking down the government statement. It was not made – or even referenced – by the HSE.
So, Congress has recessed until after Labor Day. Just before they left town, they passed a continuing resolution to keep the government funded for the next six months.
