Determined to end confusion over glove rating standards, the International Glove Association (IGA) has rolled out a new certification and standards program that will help manufacturers, distributors, and end users determine the correct performance standards for hand protection products.
Due to the complexity and confusion surrounding all the test methods, guidelines and interpretations, the International Glove Association (IGA) developed and implemented its glove certification program.
The former owner of the country’s largest asbestos abatement training school was sentenced to prison last week, after having fled the United States after her trial in November 2008. Albania Deleon, 41, formerly of Andover, Mass., was sentenced to 87 months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release.
