O’Neil steps into new CEO role at ASIS International

The American Industrial Hygiene Association® (AIHA) is celebrating Peter J. O'Neil, FASAE, CAE for his 16 years of service to the organization as he transitions into his new role as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer at ASIS International in Alexandria, Va.
OSHA announced on August 6, 2015 a proposed new standard that would lower workplace exposure to beryllium, a heavy metal that can cause lung disease. The proposal would apply to an estimated 35,000 workers covered by OSHA.

This technical document for industry professionals is an expansion of information provided in AIHA’s publication, Field Guide for the Determination of Biological Contaminants in Environmental Samples, 2nd edition.
